Meeting our Sustainability Policy

Graham Marshall - Saturday, February 04, 2012

Last Thursday's blog post showed-off our newly reviewed Sustainability Policy (click here to review the new Sustainability Policy).

A new element within the revised 2012 Policy talks about "Sharing our success through pro-bono work and charitable donations" which has been written into the Policy to reflect our belief that sustainable businesses have a moral duty to share their success through efforts that improve economic, social or environmental conditions.

With that point in mind, the Risk Tool Box and its employees have made donations totalling more than $3,000 over the previous 12 months to the following good causes:

+  Queensland Flood Victims;

+  Cycle for the Cure (Texas, USA); and

+  Movember Men's Health Partners.

In 2011, we also undertook pro-bono work for the Industrial Foundation for Accident Prevention (IFAP) equating to approximately $20,000 of free labour hours.
